Sandhole Oak Barn a fantastic barn wedding venue in Cheshire
Sandhole Oak Barn is one of the best situated rustic barn venues and is situated close to Congleton in Cheshire. They pride themselves in having great attention to detail and this comes across in the pictures.
If you are looking for a wedding venue that combines a private bridal suite, a beautiful lake, a converted barn for the ceremony and lots of rustic and original features, this venue really has it all in one!
Sandhole Oak Barn hosted myself, Marissa and Adrian in January 2019 for our consultation meeting. From our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the caring staff. Having the pleasure of capturing over 250 weddings to date, I value the relationship between the venue staff and both myself and the couple. Sandhole Oak Barn didn’t disappoint and catered for our needs as well as showing us around the venue and allowing me to plan some great locations for images of the big day.
Sandhole Oak Barn is perfect venue for wedding pictures. The venue has its own private bridal suit in which the bridal party have the space to prepare themselves. This is a great time to get pictures of everyone getting ready and the suite provides a gorgeous backdrop. It is well decorated with a clean and fresh look and complements the scenes perfectly.
Sandhole Oak Barn has a spacious Ceremony Barn in which a little decoration goes a long way. A few personal touches are enough to make it a gorgeous backdrop to the wedding ceremony. The large amounts of natural light streaming in through the windows create bright and vivid images without the need for too much artificial flash. This creates more aesthetically pleasing pictures as well as being less intrusive for the guests and couple. Big and spacious kind of mean the same thing so I wouldn’t use both words here.
Another great feature of the venue and staff is that they are dog friendly at Sandhole Oak Barn. The staff took great care of Marissa and Adrian’s dog bringing him in to the ceremony carrying wedding rings. This was a lovely gesture and is one of many aspects of their special day that made it very personal to the couple.
Something that is increasingly rare now is to be able to throw confetti inside the venue itself. Sandhole Oak Barn do allow this and this makes for some amazing confetti images. It also means that you can capture the moment, whatever the weather outside!
There is a large and beautiful lake at Sandhole Oak Barn. This gives fabulous opportunities for shots of the happy couple. Marissa and Adrian looked stunning in front of the lake and the images around the lake at sunset are beautiful. The lakeside has flat easy access and looks great in the day, at sunset or at night. It’s also close to the barn so you can capture beautiful portraits of the couple and return them quickly to their friends and family.
